Sometimes the key is to find what is already there. This was one of the most rewarding projects I’ve had the chance to engage with. 

This was a creative collaboration first and foremost, and speaks to the magic created when two creative minds unite. I engaged with his calligraphy, creating a symbol and logomark representative of his spiritual, philosophical outlook on life. 

Experimentation with analog mediums such as screen printing allowed for chance occurances in mark-making and harkens to the craftsmanship involved in practices of spirituality and religion, and the rituals that keep them in the collective imagination.
